Greetings BOLD Community,

We have a kitchen plan.

This plan has been in the works for several weeks now, but I can now say that it is a solid plan.

We are getting a portable kitchen that will be parked on the North end of the building.

Food will be served in the Wrestling Room, which will be our makeshift cafeteria.

For some people who join the ministry, they describe their calling as a powerful voice that evokes attention from a young age, but sometimes God’s call is more gentle and persistent, like a whisper that lingers in their ear throughout their lives until the time is right.

In an effort to keep up with the required building maintenance, the BOLD School Board approved a building maintenance agreement with Dashir Management Services Inc. for two additional full-time custodians and a full-time building maintenance manager during the Aug. 24 board meeting. The agreement will run from Aug. 25, 2026, through June 30, 2029, making it a three-year agreement. The cost of the agreement is $255,673.06 annually.

The city’s Economic Development Authority is back in action, full of star power and on the books this time. On Monday, Renville council members heard the first committee report from the newly established group, made up of an impressive array of volunteers, council reps. and city staff.

Opposing sides of a County Ditch 59 Branch B improvement project proposal were heard during the public hearing portion of a special drainage authority session during the Aug. 25 Renville County Board of Commissioners action meeting. According to the project packet the original petitioners of the proposal noted that inadequate drainage had resulted in consistent flooding on their parcels.
