The BOLD Warriors kicked off the 2026 season with a 3-1 loss to the MACCRAY Wolverines last Thursday evening in Clara City.

The Warriors have their sights set on another successful campaign under Coach Brian Kingery, and started out strong out of the gate leading the majority of the way during the opening set.

Some ideas wait quietly for their moment. For years, Mackenna Hinderks carried one in the back of her mind: the wish of a Renville County West Fellowship of Christian Athletes program.

As her senior year approached, however, waiting was no longer an option. If Hinderks wanted FCA to become part of RCW while she was still a student, she had one final opportunity to make it happen.

Steven Douglas Mulder was born on January 15, 1952, in Denver, Colorado. He was baptized as an infant and later made his profession of faith at the Emden Christian Reformed Church in Renville, Minnesota. Steve was a graduate of the Renville High School class of 1970, the Gustavus Adolphus College class of 1974, and the University of Minnesota School of Medicine class of 1979.

Susan Draheim, 79, of Willmar, passed away Tuesday, August 25, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. Her funeral service will be 10:30 am, Saturday, September 12, at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 pm Friday, September 11, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour prior to her service at the church on Saturday. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
